The Challenge
Summit Funding Group was located in multiple suites in a Class B office building needing to expand into additional space. Due to the acquisition of another business it needed to double its size in North Cincinnati growing to 12,000 square feet. The company sought assistance to negotiate an early termination and relocation to another alternative within a three-mile radius of their current operation.
The Solution
GES Corporate Real Estate Advisors assisted Summit Funding Group in reviewing the range of alternatives, taking into consideration: image, location and value. Image won out, and the company selected a Class A building in Sycamore Township with visibility on Interstate 275. A belowmarket rate and good finish allowance were negotiated. Summit Funding Group President chose to take the space, knowing his company could continue to grow within the building by negotiated expansion options on adjacent space. GES Corporate Real Estate Advisors was able to assist Summit Funding Group in its negotiation with their current landlord to vacate the current space prior to their lease expiration with no penalties. An existing tenant in the building with expansion needs was located and moved into the space vacated by Summit Funding Group.
